The Office of the Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment) has authorized the Army, acting as the executive agent for administering the HAP, to extend the initial implementation period for the Permanent Change of Station (PCS) category of the HAP to 30 September 2010. The change applies to service members who are reassigned under permanent PSC orders: 1) Dated between February 1, 2006 and September 30, 2010, and, 2) To a new duty station or home port outside a 50-mile radius of the member's former duty station or home port.
