28 Feb 10, added the 2010 Air Force Posture Statement to Good to Know.  Second, added a Referral (EPR/OPR) Report - Fact Sheet to AFWriting.com - EPR/OPR Information and to Good To Know - Supervisor and SNCO Files.  Finally, Air Force officials announce E-8 selection stats:

• 1,269 of 13,741 Selected  Which equates to 9.24 % selection rate. The average score was 665.85

  • average time in grade of 4.38 years

  • average time in service of 20.2 years,

  • 135 for enlisted performance reports

  • 21.30 for decorations

  • 61.47 for the Air Force supervisory examination

  • 394.06 board score

18 Feb 10, added the last submission from CHC, a NCO 12 Outstanding Airman of the Year (2009) example for 1C6X1, GPS Operators & Operations Support Scheduler to AFWriting.com - Award Examples.  Additionally, t'is the season for the Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF). (the link goes to the AFAF Pamphlet)  Please contact your unit rep to donate.  Additionally, all money raised through the website for this month will be donated to the AFAF fund.

16 Feb 10, updated the promotion numbers.  Also added a submission from SMS for Retraining Application Example. Find it in AFWriting.com's Letter Factory.

15 Feb 10, added a winning NCO of the Quarter, 4th 2009 example submitted by CHC to AFWriting.com - Award Examples.

11 Feb 10, although a little late for some people, you can find the WAPS/SNCOPS Catalog for the upcoming promotion cycles for 09E8, 10E7, 10E6, and 10E5 in Supervisor Tools and AFWriting.com - Promotions. If this applies to you, review the catalog to ensure you have the correct materials for these cycles. Also, as a suggestion if you are eligible, please read page 6, "Responsibilities - Eligible Airmen" so you know what you are responsible for.  Additionally, added some good information for those of you wondering "Is This Stuff Still Good?" when it comes to the food on DECA shelves, follow the link and see what DeCA Home Economist Kay Blakley has to say .  Please note this is slanted to the USAFE/EUCOM theater but it does explain everything.  Find it in Good to Know - General Military.  Finally added the Departure Safety Briefing (29B) form to the AF Forms page and Good to Know - Supervisor/NCO Files.

10 Feb 10, added the 2009 edition of Military Commander and the Law to the United States Military Law -- Uniform Code of Military Justice page.  Thank you KK.  Additionally, there was another LOR for Article 92 - Dereliction of Duty (Finance) added to AFWriting.com - Letter Factory - Letters of Reprimand.

7 Feb 10, AFEPRBullets.com is back up and operational.  Added a winning 12 Outstanding NCO of the Year (2008) example and an example Airman of the Quarter, 4th 2009 (this is a UDM package) submitted by RGA to AFWriting.com - Award Examples.  Additionally, added 12 Outstanding SNCO of the Year (2008) winning example submitted by LEA  and 12 Outstanding Airman of the Year (2009) example submitted by CHC.

6 Feb 10, still having problems with AFEPRBullets.com.  If you are a PHP junky, please email.  On a side note, fixed a link to a BTZ example and added another one, SrA Below the Zone (BTZ) winning example - 3A031/ Knowledge Operations Manager  2009 (thanx WRM) to AFWriting.com.   Finally added new information regarding Expanded Homeowners Assistance Program (HAP) to Good to Know - General Military.
